About the Position

Responsible for the full life cycle of software development including analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and deployment. This is a full-time, permanent position.

About the Candidate

• Minimum of 3 years experience in software development, with Java Enterprise technology.
  Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns and UML.
  Experience with the development of enterprise web-based transactional applications, preferably using the J2EE technologies.
  Experience with Java Server Pages (JSP) using the Apache Struts Framework.
  Well versed in SQL and JDBC.
  Working knowledge of the following development tools: Ant, CVS, Eclipse IDE.
  Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and work effectively with minimal supervision in a small team environment.
  Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  Business knowledge of the Continuing Education domain is a definite asset.
  Experience with Crystal Reports or Cognos is added value.
